Another post story
Earlier's event was the mother of annoyance, inside the jeepney, beside me is a mother with her weeping child, oh that's simple, screaming child! Her cry started from they sat, until they took off. Ahh the sound, that defeaning sound can be heard past my Ipod..I was sooooo mad, I was tempted to show the koi in the pond on my phone (Iphone app). The interior smelled funny too, like onions and sweats and with the irony of puring rain, like there's no tomorrow. But it was compensated with the one with the nice Nice Nike shoes. Oh well, at least!

LIFE IN A JEEPNEY post note
Ok I'll take it back. The previous post was what I experienced the other day, but earlier was way tooo different and I did not enjoy it. The guy across me had his mobile phone on speaker mode and playing an Air supply song so LOUDLY, no match for Chico and Del. No offense on Air Supply fans, I actually knew the song - making love out of nothing at all but I'm not it the mood to listen to it. I'm in my Sunday RnB mood (as if my week is not RnB filled). He switched tracks, and it was an annoying rap song, I did not care to listen as I increase my volume. But, to my surprise, he opened a box, and what do you know - a mini speaker. A mini speaker that changes colors, I'm like OMG, what in the world.
this time, I did not enjoy the ride!

LIFE IN A JEEPNEY
Life in a jeepney
It's 5 minutes til 10pm, I was running late, really as my shift is supposed to end by 6pm (ok, 5pm because I was late for one hour). I hopped in the jeepney and waited for the passengers to come along, it was boring and a little sleepy so I put on my headset and listened to Chico and Delamar's Podcast last Wednesday, can' get enough of them. Anyways, as the jeepney started to fill and passengers started to come by, it was a pleasant view for me as workers after a day converged in a location like this. I would love to have my own car or course, and not be with the other people (you don't know if they are sick or what, I'm sorry maarte lang ako) and siksikan kau, and the odor or whatever. I'm not complaining, don't get me wrong. My mother always scolds me for complaining the smell of other people as they earned it after a hard day's work. Anyways, it was a bunch of workers - industrious workers all cramped up in this tiny piece of moving metal. Students - qualify as workers as well because they worked they out of this day, you know. And after 3 minutes, we were all dosing off and in 10 minutes, most of us are asleep, except for me which was in awe really. This must have been an exhausting day for all of us, the students (they were lovers) are holding their hands, the mall workers are leaning with each other, the other guy is just asleep on his back and the workers from the hospital are sharing their experiences in high note battling the sound of the jeepney engine. It was a little chilly, that contributed to the mood of the night. I can't really let go of this experience as I myself is very proud to be in the company of these people, they are really the working masses that after a day's work, welcomes another day with gladness or at times just being forced out of survival but the commitment is there to survive. Tomorrow's another day.
